Cardigan Innovation Team Wins Top Honors at UNH Design Challenge

A team of Cardigan Mountain School students earned first place at the University of New Hampshire’s Community Changemaker Challenge with their startup concept, EmployEASE—an innovative career-support platform designed to guide users from job search to real-world skill building. Competing against dozens of high school teams across New England, the Gates Futurist Innovation students impressed judges with their polished presentation, research-driven planning, and practical solution to modern employment challenges. Their win caps off a year-long course focused on solving real-world problems through entrepreneurial thinking and design.
