Jenny Sabados

Jenny is a former music teacher and performer with a degree in music education and vocal performance k-12. She taught many genres including Chorus, Theatre and Performance for several years post-grad, before she made a move to non-profit arts education where she worked with intercity students for 4 years until she and Jeff made the decision to start a family.  They then left the city limits for the grass and trees of the South Shore in Duxbury, MA in search of more room to raise their kids.

Now, Jenny is mom to their three beautiful children bursting with individuality and talents of their own.  She thrives on watching them grow and strives to open their eyes to see their world through a creative lens.  Her goal each day is to teach them to know themselves, be problem-solvers and to seek out their future, finding their strengths and weaknesses to apply that knowledge to their tomorrow.

Jenny applies this same methodology to her work as a dedicated teacher at Bay Farm Montessori Academy serving as The Shop Director, an innovation space designed and created specifically for Middle Schoolers and a community hub for creative design and connection.  Beginning in the fall 2020, Jenny will be one of three key players working to introduce a novel curriculum to Bay Farm’s young adults.  This curriculum will take the time-tested ideals of Maria Montessori further into the 21st century than ever before.  The flexible and innovative curriculum creates the environment needed for students to take the wheel in their own education and learn to not fear failure but rather to approach a problem with excitement and curiosity.  Jenny is very excited to be a part of this turning point in the future of education.
